Getting Audio Wood

No, I'm not referring to what happens to me when I hear a really great high-fidelity stereo setup you sicko. I'm referring to what happens to me when I look at these f'n sweet turntables! That, and also the name of the site is AudioWood.com.

I couldn't find any reviews on how these burled wood record players sound, but they're guaranteed to at least look awesome. Especially fitting if you live in a little wooden Hobbit dwelling. Just don't tell the Ents! Wow, things really just took a turn for the nerdy there at the end.

California'cation

So I took a sweet trip to California last week. It was my first trip traveling without adult supervision, and I think I handled it pretty well. Sure I got lost a few times and forgot to put on sunscreen, but that's travelin' man!

I took over 10GB of pictures on the trip. You read that right: gigabytes. And I've uploaded about 2MB of those on to Picasa for anyone interested. Here are a few of my California vacation pictures for a small glimpse of why Citicard is so pleased to have me as a customer.

NYTimes User-Submitted Cell Phone Photos

There was a point in time (not too long ago) when you might have said "Oh, I wish I had a camera for this," when something beautiful or unusual presented itself. Nowadays you probably do have a camera with you, unless you're toting around a gigantic Zach Morris phone. In which case, I'm surprised you're using the internet successfully right now.

Regardless, most of us have some kind of camera with us at all times, and the New York Times took advantage of that fact recently with a user-submitted cell phone photography project. They picked about 20% of the the submission to post on their site which you can view here.
